A Fine Artist for over 30 years and recognized
as creator of the "Oil Wash" technique. Albert enjoys recognition
nationally and internationally and is represented
by galleries and Art
both the United States
invented and owns all the paper he creates his works upon. The paper is
of 50% cotton and 50% plastic fibers. With a Windsor Newton approved oil
solvent the finished painting gives the impression of a watercolor but the stability and
longevity of a traditional oil painting on canvas.
A New Direction
For several months Albert has
worked on new compositions. "I wanted to maintain my style with the oil wash
in the skies and foregrounds, but create a new look."
"I began my experimentation with the thought of less Anasazi
ruins, Mexican adobes and US rural architecture but introduce a item into
the painting to expand the story line."
Below is one of his new
compositions. The series will be hang at the Desert Mountain Fine
Art Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona in January and
Gallery in Tubac, Arizona in February.
